Haha, this week really has been so busy for me. Last Monday, my far cousins and aunt from The US (near Seattle, WA) came. We gotta accompany them to go to some place. We had dinner at Mang Engking at Soragan, then we went to Malioboro. The next morning, my family and I went to the church for Christmas and after that we picked our guests up and had breakfast at Pak Min Soto. Then, they continued their trip to Prambanan.
Tuesday night, another relatives came from Surabaya. We had steak barbeque that evening, LOL. The next day, another relatives came from Jakarta. We had lunch at Mang Engking again. I dunno why but an allergy which hadn't shown up for about more than 10 years came again to me!! Arrggghhh... . After eating some prawns, later that afternoon, I got rash all over my upper body, dang it. Twas so itchy. I dunno why that happened since I was okay eating prawns on the last 10 years. Dang It.
Anyway, because yesterday was my parents' 20th anniversary, we had dinner together at Serayu Restaurant, Quality Hotel... ;)
Arrgghh, Merpati sucks!! They called me one hour ago saying that Jogjakarta - Bandung vv flight from 28th December to 15th January are all canceled because of a failure on the aircraft! Dang It. I already bought the tickets, and they would recash it back. But the problem is that I gotta go to Bandung at 10th January for my FRS!! I think I'm gonna catch a flight to Jakarta first...

Back to Jogja!! :)
Yesterday I had my last exam this semester, Financial Math. I thought this subject would be the most difficult one for me, haha... ;) Apparently, yea, it was pretty difficult but I think I did well. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought before, LOL. Btw, yesterday Bandung was SO crowded!! Dang It. Traffic Congestion was everywhere... :(
Anyway, finally this morning I went back to Jogja catching Merpati's MZ 326 which took off at 6.15 AM. This morning, Blue Bird sucked. I already ordered a taxi yesterday for this morning at 4.30 AM and it was confirmed. Guess what?? This morning at 4.30 AM they called me and told me that they couldn't provide a taxi. WTF?? I was so angry and said I had to be at the airport at 5 AM to catch the 6 AM flight, so they gotta be responsible for that! At that time, I also called Gemah Ripah and lucky they could provide me a taxi. Dang Blue Bird.
Finally at 6.17 AM, Merpati's Boeing 737-217/adv reg code PK-MBS took off thru runway 29 from Husein Sastranegara Airport. At 6.50 AM we landed at Adisutjipto Airport Yogyakarta, thru runway 09.
Btw, one thing I really want when I come back to Jogja is eating home-made steak. Luckily, TODAY I ate home-made steak!! Hahahaha... . Plus, the meat was an imported meat from Australia, hahahaha.... . The steak was GREAT!!!

1 2 go
Huh!! Finally now one exam is left, which is Financial Math. This morning I had a Probability Theory exam and I think I did well. Anyway, Financial Math is the only subject which I need to really be careful (well, because I just don't "click" with my lecturer's style of teaching). Arrggghhhh.... . Wish Me Luck. Btw, this might be the last entry before homecoming next Sunday!! hahaha...
Btw, yesterday I wacthed the fifth episode of TARA 2. All teams went from Auckland to Tokyo, Japan. Haha, Daichi & Sawaka now got the homeland advantage. However, there were too many equalizers this leg (2) while we acually only needed one. After all the tasks in Tokyo Japan, they had to go to Fukuoka catching a bullet train. Wtf, that equalizer made what they did in Tokyo were useless, whether they had a lead or on the backpacks. Hmmm... . Anyway, this leg was a superleg or also known as a double-length leg which is aired on 2 episodes! haha.. . So far, Ann & Diane reached the virtual pitstop first, the other teams, we don't know.

Asian Idol 2007
Last weekend, Asian Idol was telecasted on tv. All 6 idols sang 2 songs each, 1 in English, and 1 in their native language. My scoring:
1. Jaclyn Victor (Malaysia)
- For Once in My Life : 8.5
- Gemilang : 9
Average : 8.75
2. Hady Mirza (Singapore)
- Berserah : 8
- Beautiful Day : 7 (he should be more powerful than that for that song)
Average : 7.5
3. Phuong Vy (Vietnam)
- River Deep Mountain High : 8.5
- Luc Moi Yeu : 7 (she should have picked something else which is more challenging, IMO)
Average : 7.75
4. Mau Marcello (Philippines)
- Ako Ang Nagwagi : 8.5
- Reach : 9
Average : 8.75
5. Abhijeet Sawant (India)
- Everything I Do : 8
- Junoon : 7.5 (I normally dun like Indian song, but he sang it with modern style and that made me not hate it that much)
Average : 7.75
6. Mike Mohede (Indonesia)
- Mengejar Matahari : 8.5
- I Believe I Can Fly : 9 (it's great, but why didn't he pick another song??)
Average : 8.75
So, I think the best were Mike, Mau, and Jaclyn. Guess what?? After the vote, the winner is Hady Mirza. Arrrgggghhhh.... . I think he was the worst of the night (he was not that bad actually, but some other contestants were just better than him). How could he win?? Hmmm... . I dunno, there might be several reasons. Ken Lim (Singaporean judge) was right, Asia wasn't gonna vote based on how good they sang, haha... ;)
Anyway, congratulations Hady for winning the show.

13 December 07
Huhu!! Finally 3 of my final exams have been passed!! Yaaay!!! Yesterday I had 2 final exams, Physics and Linear Algebra. I think I did well on both, eventho on Linear Algebra I wasn't as confident that I did 100% perfect as I was on the midterm, but I think I did so well, hehe... ;) This morning I had Advanced Calculus Final Exam, and I know I did extremely well, haha. I think I could get 100, hmmm... :D Let's just hope for the best. My next exam is Mathematics Computation and it's gonnabe held next Monday, so now I'm free!! Hurrayy!!!
Btw, 1 hr ago I watched the 4th episode of TARA 2, all teams didn't leave New Zealand and went to Rotorua. Well, apparently Sophie & Aurelia (#8 on leg 3 final placement) were 7 hours behind Pamela & Vanessa (#7 on leg 3 final placement). After finding that news, I know that if there was no equalizer, it's gonnabe hard for Sophie & Aurelia to catch up. The only kind of equalizer which could save them would only be flight, and because they didn't go anywhere far, there was no 'flying to bla bla bla'. Seven hours is damn so long. In the end, yea, my guess was right. There was no single equalizer and Sophie & Aurelia even didn't have the chance to do any challenging task. Allan Wu came to where they were and said they were eliminated... :( Poor them, I like this team.
Anyway, the final placement: 1. Marc & Rovilson (#1 again?? Arrrggghhhh, that's a bit boring); 2. Adrian & Collin; 3. Paula & Natasha; 4. Ann & Diane; 5. Daichi & Sawaka; 6. Pamela & Vanessa; 7. Henry & Terri; 8. Sophie & Aurelia (eliminated)
My fave quote for this leg: Natasha ("Has anyone died doing this?" >> on the water sledging task, LOL)
Btw, yesterday the electricity went off again!! Arrgghh, as a result, again, my internet connection was off until, well I dunno, but at 2 AM this morning it's still off. So apparently, it was not the rain which caused it like I thought before, but it was the electricity!!
