I actually was looking for "THE A.B.C Murders" by the same author but since the stock was zero, I somehow ended with this book. At first I was interested to this book because of the title and cover. "Death In The Clouds, wah murders in the sky, this might be exciting". that was probably what was going in my mind at that time.
Plot Summary:
Hercule Poirot was a passenger of an international flight from Le Bourget Airport Paris to Croydon Airport, London. Weirdly, during he flight there was a bee. On the way, one passenger, Madamme Giselle was murdered. She was found dead some minutes before landing. Poirot found a posioned dart lying on the floor. Unfortunately, a blowpipe was found on his seat. Ten other passengers (including him) and two stewards became suspects. After analyzing many things, Poirot knew who the murderer was.
Well, I think the novel was cool. I like the storyline since it doesn't confuse the readers (I think). It's like a typical detective story. I also like Poirot's method and old-fashioned theory, hahaha... :) The novel also doesn't only talk about the murders itself but also the backgrounds of each suspects (relating to the murder tho) which is for me interesting. I like the simple twist and the simple conflicts. But still, it's not boring. It keeps your hand turning every pages everytime you read it, hahaha... :)
So yes, I agree that Agatha Christie is one of the best writers of all.
